Our Overall Service
I appreciated that Empire arrived same day, diagnosed the problem, and repaired it quickly, but the price was absurdly high. $700 for a one-hour repair job that only required perhaps $20 of parts. Yes, the technician gave me the quote up front and I could have declined the work. But even if the technician is paid $100 per hour, that's almost $600 of O/H and profit for the company. That's just not reasonable. I'd be hesitant to hire Empire again for fear that, if a simple job costs $700, how much must an actually hard job cost?
