David contacted Empire State Plumbing due to a water leak in his icemaker water line. Upon inspection, our technician discovered that the previous water filter was installed incorrectly. It was upside down and was connected to an old galvanized water line. He approved our up front pricing and allowed our technician to complete the repair the someday. His issue is now resolved and was another satisfied customer.
Judy called us because the company she worked for was having frequent backups happening in their restroom. She called Empire State Plumbing to come and clear the lines and figure out a solution to the problem. After diagnostics, we determined that the drain lines needed to be cleared and that one of the toilets had a very weak flush which likely caused the backups. We suggested replacing the toilet with a new pressure assisted toilet and jetting the lines with a high-pressure water hose called a Hydo jet. Judy approved pricing and we replaced the toilet the same day and cleared the line. Judy and her co-workers can now rest easy knowing their issue is resolved and she will call us for all their future needs.
Joanne had a leak from a water line in the wall which I promptly repaired. I noticed while I was giving a free plumbing inspection that the water heater was older than its average lifespan, and instead of waiting for it to fail, and potentially cause flooding in the future, Joanne wanted to replace the water heater with a new Bradford White electric water heater, which I replaced immediately
Ben called Empire State Plumbing because his toilet was leaking. We discussed different options and spoke about how his toilet was older and used 3 plus gallons of water per flush. One option was that we could replace it with a new ADA compliant toilet which is taller and has an elongated bowl for comfort. Ben liked that option and approved pricing before we started. I got started removing the old toilet while waiting for our delivery guy to arrive with the new toilet. Ben also opted to go with a new shut off valve and supply line, so everything was new.
