Kara contacted Empire State Plumbing regarding a backup in her kitchen sink drain line. Upon further inspection, our technician discovered a belly and back pitch in the basement.  In order to rectify the issue, our technician explained to her that he needed to re-pipe the drain in the basement to facilitate improved flow. She approved our up front pricing and was extremely pleased with the outcome.

Jean called us because he had no heat in his upstairs tenant's apartment. When we arrived, we thoroughly examined the unit and discovered that the pressure relief valve was leaking, which caused the system to lose water pressure. They automatic water fill valve also failed and was not allowing make-up water back into the system. This resulted in a low-pressure situation which wouldn't allow the system to circulate hot water. We replaced the faulty parts and tested the system for proper operation. Jean and his tenants were very happy to have this repaired immediately.

John called Empire State Plumbing because he had a gas leak.  He called National Grid out to his residence which resulted in them locking up his gas meter due to the severity of the leaks. Our technician promptly replaced the outdated gas valves with modern alternatives, and successfully restored the gas supply to his home immediately.

Craig called Empire State Plumbing because his water heater was leaking.  Our technician arrived and noticed there was three water heaters that had difficult access due to a confined area and the leaking water heater was actually behind another old water heater.  We discussed how it would be more cost effective to replace two out of the three water heaters due to the age and the fact that one of the old water heaters had to be removed anyway to get to the leaky water heater.  He agreed that was the best option and had us replace both water heaters.  Craig has hot water again in both of his apartments and was extremely satisfied.
