Henry called us about a broken water heater. During the inspection we found that the water heater was over 10 years old and had no downspout on the temperature and pressure safety relief valve and had never been maintained. Rather than wasting money on repairing a water heater that was reaching the end of its lifespan, Henry opted to replace his 50-gallon electric water heater which we took care off on the spot.
Robert contacted Empire State Plumbing because his 30-year-old hot water heater was leaking. Our technician promptly arrived at the customer's location and assessed the situation. He determined that the old 80-gallon water heater needed to be replaced and reviewed our up front pricing with him. After approval, our technician removed the old unit and installed a new 80-gallon electric water heater in its place on the same day. Robert expressed his satisfaction with the prompt and professional service provided by Empire State Plumbing.
Here are before and after pics of a commercial water heater Empire State Plumbing replaced at Starbucks in Guilderland. Same model, but the old unit was leaking. That's one of the signs that it's time for a replacement!
