Bandalynn contacted Empire State Plumbing regarding a lack of hot water in her home. Upon inspection, our technician determined that her existing water heater was over 19 years old and recommended replacing the unit to ensure reliable performance. We provided upfront pricing, which Bandalynn reviewed and approved before proceeding.
A new water heater was promptly sourced and brought on-site. Our team removed and disposed of the old unit, installed the new system, and reconnected the water supply lines and gas connection. After filling the unit with water, bleeding air from the system, and ensuring proper operation, the water heater was successfully fired up. Bandalynn was pleased to have hot water restored so quickly.

Steven is a current customer that called Empire State Plumbing because a pressure tank that we installed 3 years ago was leaking. After inspecting his pressure tank, we found that the tank tee fitting had a hair line fracture that caused water to spray out of the cracked fitting. Despite our normal one-year equipment installation warranty, we replaced the part for no charge because the part should have lasted 50 years not 3. Steven was relieved that his issue was resolved, and he will continue to call us for all his plumbing, HVAC and water treatment needs.
Chris called Empire State Plumbing because his outside spigot was leaking. After inspection, we recommend replacing his old hose bib with a new frost-free hose bib and new shut off valve in the basement. A frost-free hose bib gives peace of mind and does not require turning off the water and draining it down before winter. Chris approved the estimate we provided on site and the work was performed the immediately. Chris was happy with our service and excited to have his issue resolved.
Nassau Veterinary Clinic contacted Empire State Plumbing due to a leak in their basement. Upon further inspection, it was determined that the old cast iron drain line was the source of the leak. Empire State Plumbing removed the deteriorated cast iron and replaced it with PVC piping on the same day.
