Todd gave us a call and told us that the drain in the basement ceiling was leaking at the daycare he worked for. After inspection, it was determined that they had old cast iron pipes, leaking sewage. A section of piping was rotted out so discussed what the best solution would be, which was to replace the whole section with PVC. With Todds approval we replaced the piping for two floor drains, and a kitchen sink drain. Now the daycare is fully functional, and there are no more leaks coming through the ceiling.
David called Empire State Plumbing to have us replace his old stem shut off valve at one of his rental properties. Once our technician arrived, he reviewed our up front pricing and was given approval on the spot. Our technician installed new 1/4 turn shut off valves for his washer machine and cut down his standpipe to the correct size.
Nicole reached out to Empire State Plumbing regarding a clog in her shower waste line and issues with the trip waste assembly. Upon inspection, we found that the waste lines were old copper with an outdated box drum trap. We provided upfront pricing, which Nicole approved before we began work. We replaced the old trip waste assembly and drum trap with new PVC components. After completing the repairs, Nicole was satisfied that both issues were addressed, and her system was functioning properly. The new setup will also simplify future drain cleaning.
