Gary called because his smoke detector was going off and he heard noises coming from his tankless water heater. When we checked his tankless water heater, we found a large amount of bugs and debris inside the gas burner. We disassembled the burner and preformed a thorough cleaning service and test fired the unit to make sure it was operating properly. Upon testing the unit, the smoke detector no longer went off. Gary can feel safe knowing there is no carbon monoxide in his basement.
