Kara contacted Empire State Plumbing regarding a backup in her kitchen sink drain line. Upon further inspection, our technician discovered a belly and back pitch in the basement.  In order to rectify the issue, our technician explained to her that he needed to re-pipe the drain in the basement to facilitate improved flow. Jean called us because he had no heat in his upstairs tenant's apartment. When we arrived, we thoroughly examined the unit and discovered that the pressure relief valve was leaking, which caused the system to lose water pressure. They automatic water fill valve also failed and was not allowing make-up water back into the system. This resulted in a low-pressure situation which wouldn't allow the system to circulate hot water. We replaced the faulty parts and tested the system for proper operation. Jean and his tenants were very happy to have this repaired immediately.

Chris contacted Empire State Plumbing regarding a leak under his kitchen sink. Our technician arrived and found that most of the connections were improperly secured. We offered upfront pricing, which Chris approved before we proceeded. After discussing the options, we agreed to remove the old connections and replace them with new tubular PVC. Our technician hooked everything up and properly tied in the garbage disposal. Now, Chris doesn't have to worry about his items under the sink getting ruined.
