These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Empire State Plumbing, Inc. (“Empire State Plumbing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you use our website, contact us, book an appointment, or receive plumbing, heating, cooling, or drain & sewer service from us. By using our website or requesting service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

Our services

Empire State Plumbing is a licensed plumbing and HVAC contractor (NYS License PLBG21-147) providing residential plumbing, heating, cooling, and drain & sewer service in the Capital Region of New York. Service availability depends on your location, the nature of the work, and scheduling. Booking a service online or by phone is a request for an appointment; we will confirm your appointment before it is final. We may decline or reschedule work that is outside our service area, outside our licensed scope, or unsafe to perform.

Text messaging (SMS) terms

When you provide your mobile phone number and agree to receive text messages — for example, when you call us, book online, or submit a form on our website — you consent to receive text messages from Empire State Plumbing. These messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling updates, estimates and follow-ups about service you requested, and occasional service reminders or offers.

• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
• Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. We will not send further texts unless you opt back in.

• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can receive full service from us without agreeing to text messages — just call us instead.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information about how we collect and handle your personal information, including your phone number, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Estimates, pricing, and payment

Prices quoted on our website, in advertising, or over the phone are good-faith estimates unless we state otherwise in writing. Final pricing is confirmed before work begins, based on an on-site evaluation of the job. Payment is due when the work is complete unless we have agreed to other terms in writing. Financing, when offered, is provided by independent third-party lenders and is subject to their approval, terms, and conditions — we are not the lender and do not make credit decisions.

Offers, coupons, and specials

Coupons, flat-rate diagnostic offers, and other specials published on our website or in our advertising are subject to the terms stated on the offer, and unless the offer says otherwise: they apply to residential service within our service area; one offer per household per visit; they cannot be combined with other offers or discounts; and they must be mentioned when you book. Offers have no cash value and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Offers with an expiration date are honored through that date.

Membership plans

If you enroll in one of our membership or maintenance plans, your plan is billed on a recurring basis at the rate stated when you enroll, and continues until you cancel. Plan benefits — including any member-only warranties, discounts, or priority scheduling — apply only while your membership is active and paid current. You may cancel at any time by contacting us; cancellation stops future billing and ends plan benefits at the close of the period already paid. Membership fees are not refundable for periods already billed except where required by law.

Warranties and guarantees

We stand behind our work. Any workmanship guarantee we offer is described at the time of service or on the applicable page of our website, and applies to the work we performed — not to pre-existing conditions, other components of your system, or damage caused by misuse, neglect, or work done by others. Equipment and parts are covered by their manufacturers’ warranties, which are separate from any guarantee we provide. Extended or multi-year workmanship warranties, where offered, are a benefit of our membership plans and require an active membership.

Using our website

Our website and its content — including text, photos, graphics, and logos — belong to Empire State Plumbing or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use the site for your personal, non-commercial use, such as learning about our services and booking an appointment. You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by scraping it, submitting false or misleading information, interfering with its operation, or attempting to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.

Third-party links and services

Our website may link to third-party websites and services, such as financing applications, review platforms, and scheduling tools. Those sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Nothing on the website is a substitute for an on-site professional evaluation of your plumbing or HVAC system. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website or our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
