Yes. Most pre-1940 homes in Albany, Troy, and Schenectady were built for steam or hot-water radiators, so they have no ducts to carry cold air. For those homes a ductless mini-split is the answer — slim indoor heads connected by a single line set to one outdoor unit, with no walls to tear open. We size the number of zones to the rooms you actually live in.
If your home already has a forced-air furnace and ductwork — common in Clifton Park, Colonie, and newer suburban builds — we can add or replace a matched central AC system on your existing air handler. If there’s no ductwork, ductless is the cleaner, more efficient route. During the free estimate we look at your home and tell you which approach actually fits.
