Code-compliant gas line installation for ranges, dryers, grills, and heating appliances — licensed, insured Capital Region plumbers since 2006.

Do any of these sound familiar?
Most problems give you warning signs — catch one early and you often avoid a bigger repair.
A new gas range, dryer, or fireplace needs a fresh line run to where it sits.
An old capped line or undersized stub won't safely feed a modern appliance.
Switching to natural gas or propane means new piping sized for the full load.
Got a problem that can’t wait? Book online in under a minute.
How we do it
From your first call to the final cleanup, here’s exactly how we work — no surprises and no upsells.
Tell us the appliance and location — we schedule same-day where possible.
Need it fixed today? We hold same-day slots for urgent repairs across the Capital Region.
We map the run and size the pipe to your appliance's BTU demand.
We run the line, pressure-test for leaks, and verify it before we leave.
Licensed Empire State Plumbing tech diagnosing a system on-siteOur work, done right
Every gas line install starts with sizing the pipe to your appliance’s BTU load and the distance of the run — an undersized line starves the burner and is a safety hazard. We run black iron or CSST per code, install a properly rated shutoff at the appliance, then pressure-test the line and check every joint with a leak detector before we connect anything. You get a clean, code-compliant line that passes inspection the first time.

A real person answers. Call or book online — Mon to Fri, 7:30 to 6, with same-day slots across the Capital Region.
How to decide
Tying a new appliance onto an old, undersized, or corroded line is false economy — it can drop pressure across the whole house and won’t pass inspection. We’ll inspect what you have and tell you straight whether we can extend the existing line or whether running a properly sized new line is the safer long-term call.
Straight talk on price
Gas line installation is flat-rate and quoted up front after we measure the run and confirm the appliance load — never by the hour, and never a surprise on the invoice. Estimates are free, and financing through Acorn Finance is available so a bigger run or full conversion fits your budget.
Local know-how
Capital Region homes run the full mix — natural gas in Albany, Troy, and Schenectady, and propane out toward Clifton Park, Saratoga, Nassau, and the well-and-septic territory. We size lines for both fuels, work with older Colonie and Delmar piping, and pull the right local permits so your install passes inspection across the region.

Good to know
The things Capital Region homeowners ask us most about repair, replacement and cost.
We quote flat-rate up front after measuring the run — free estimate, no surprises.
Yes — Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–6:00 PM we book same-day where the run and parts allow.
Most new gas lines do — we pull the permit and pressure-test so it passes inspection.
We install and extend gas lines for ranges, dryers, water heaters, furnaces, and boilers, plus outdoor additions like grills, fire pits, pool heaters, and standby generators. Whether you’re on natural gas or propane, we size the line correctly so every appliance gets the pressure and volume it needs.
The most common warning signs are a rotten-egg or sulfur smell, a faint hissing near the line, or dead patches of grass over a buried run. If you smell gas, leave the house, avoid light switches or open flames, and call your utility’s emergency line first, then call us to locate and repair the leak.
