Yes. The Capital Region’s hard water leaves mineral scale inside a tankless unit, so it should be flushed and descaled about once a year to keep it heating efficiently and to keep the manufacturer’s warranty valid. We can take care of that annual flush for you during a short service visit.
Often, yes. A gas or propane tankless needs a correctly sized gas line and its own sealed venting, and an electric model may need a dedicated circuit and panel capacity, so we check all of that before we give you a firm price. Every install is permitted and inspected to New York code, and we size the unit and venting to your specific home so nothing is left to guesswork.
