The clearest sign is more than one fixture backing up or draining slowly at the same time — like a toilet and a tub gurgling together — which points to a clog in the main line rather than a single drain. Sewage smells, water rising in a basement floor drain, or a toilet that won’t clear are also red flags that the main drain or sewer line needs to be rooted. If you’re seeing any of these, call us and we’ll clear it, often the same day.
A rooter cuts the roots back to the pipe wall and restores full flow, but it doesn’t kill the tree, so roots can eventually find their way back through the same cracks or pipe joints.
