Colonie is a town of older bones — the median home here was built in 1973, and nearly half of all houses predate 1970. The single biggest slice is 1950s postwar construction, the ranches and Capes that fill Latham (median built 1976), Loudonville (median built 1964), Newtonville, Roessleville, and West Albany.
