Cooled a Lansingburgh two-family with no existing ductwork by installing a multi-zone ductless mini-split — one outdoor condenser feeding wall heads in the upstairs and downstairs living areas, so each tenant controls their own temperature without touching the original plaster walls.

They cool room by room with slim wall-mounted heads and a thin line set to an outdoor unit, so there’s no need to tear into the plaster walls of a Victorian rowhouse or a Lansingburgh brick home. If your house already has ductwork, we’ll install conventional central AC instead and tell you which fits during the free estimate.
Troy summers run humid, around 67% relative humidity, and that moisture collects in the older stone-and-brick basements found across South Troy and the historic districts. A properly sized mini-split or central system pulls humidity out as it cools, and for the dampest homes we add whole-home dehumidification so the air feels dry and comfortable, not just cold.
