A ductless mini-split is the ideal fit. It cools and heats without the demolition that retrofitting ducts into a late-1800s village home would require, and it lets you zone the house so you only cool the rooms you use. We size single- or multi-zone systems to the actual layout of older Schodack homes.
It depends on your house.
